Indigenous Health Promotion Resource Booklet

 

The Young Canadians Roundtable on Health is planning on launching a Health Promotion Resource Booklet this summer 2023 that will be distributed amongst Indigenous communities and organizations across Canada. This booklet aims to increase knowledge and awareness of various health-issues that are apparent across Indigenous communities. We are currently seeking Indigenous youth to participate in our virtual circle being held on February 9th, 2023; as well as partnerships with Indigenous organizations or professionals in the public health sector. The YCRH's Indigenous Youth Virtual Circle: 

The YCRH is currently looking for Canadian Indigenous youth between the ages of 16 to 25 years of age to participate in a virtual circle and share their lived experience and opinions related to current health-related issues and barriers that they face within their community. Themes and topics gathered from the virtual circle will help inform a Health Promotion Resource Booklet that The YCRH plans on launching in Summer 2023.

Are you a representative from an Indigenous Organization or currently work in the public health sector? We are currently seeking Indigenous consultants in order to inform the information, structure and development of the Health Promotion Booklet.
